Celebrating Student Creativity and Innovation

2014 We are proud and excited! Devon Holland, 2011-12 alum of our Integrated Exploratory (IE) class, has issued her debut album, Invitation to Dream. She has worked on this selection of children's lullabies for two years. Together with her sisters Kylie (IE 2009-10), and Piper (IE 2012-13), she has formed a new record label, Painted Wolf Records to handle the release. It is hoped that sales of Devon’s album will raise $250,000 for Project Haiti, the first ever LEED-certified orphanage and children’s center in the world! A project of the US Green Building Council, 100% of the album's profits will be donated to Project Haiti. This orphanage will provide a new home for the children and babies left homeless by the terrible 2010 earthquake. Go to Painted Wolf Records to hear their video, preview the album, and purchase the album.

2013 Congratulations to Piper Holland (IE Class 2012-13) for winning the Dream Green competition co-sponsored by Rocket 21 and Captain Planet. Her winning website idea, The Earth Savers' Club for Kids, won recognition in a field of 13, 15, and 16 year-olds. As a result she attended a gala in Atlanta, GA where she met Ted Turner, Jimmy Carter and Richard Branson. She also got to swim with a Beluga whale, which was (arguably) her favorite part of the award ceremony.
